situated within the northern area of poznań is ‘chichi 4U’ – a new burger restaurant envisioned by polish architects mode:lina architekci. as the architectural design studio have previously created interiors for the same company, the new venue seeks to form a unique space while still aligning with the chichi 4U brand.

the interior design of chichi 4U stands out due to its intriguing use of materials. as with another of their restaurant projects, mode:lina has utilized construction elements to conceive the inside space. the walls and ceiling have been adorned with almost 300 PVC pipes, resulting in an interesting push and pull of cylindrical forms, giving the normally 2D surface a dynamic 3D quality. the use of the pipes also gives the new burger bar location a distinguishing character, which patrons will undoubtedly remember.

the bright orange of the PVC pipes forms a dynamic composition with the yellow mesh panels and black colored corrugated metal sheets that line the walls and ceiling. at the counter of the restaurant, the menu is presented within the yellow mesh, while a big neon sign helps add to to the brand’s identity. the combination of materials also helps to create a contemporary and somewhat industrial aesthetic, while maintaining consistency with the other venues of chichi 4U.
